Actors Park Bo-gum and Oh Jung-se are set to escalate tensions with their intense rivalry.
In the third episode of JTBC's weekend drama 'Good Boy', airing on the 7th, the relationship between Yoon Dong-joo (played by Park Bo-gum) and Min Joo-young (played by Oh Jung-se) reaches a boiling point. The first two episodes revealed the hidden identity of Min Joo-young, previously known as a customs officer, leading to a confrontation with Yoon Dong-joo.
Yoon Dong-joo sensed something amiss after his boxing junior, Lee Kyung-il (played by Lee Jung-ha), confessed to a hit-and-run charge he didn't commit. Following clues from his memories, Yoon Dong-joo quickly approached Min Joo-young's true identity within just two episodes. However, Min Joo-young coldly responded with, "Who are you?" showing no signs of disturbance, culminating in a chilling ending that heightened the suspense.
The third episode will depict a furious Yoon Dong-joo engaging in a physical altercation with Min Joo-young. Released stills show Yoon Dong-joo pinning Min Joo-young to the ground, gripping his collar with intense emotion. In contrast, Min Joo-young counters with a sly smile, maintaining a tense standoff.
The production team stated, "Episode 3 will be a crucial turning point for Yoon Dong-joo's awakening," and hinted, "The clash with Min Joo-young will mark the beginning of a significant rift in their relationship." They added, "Stay tuned to discover the reason behind Yoon Dong-joo's explosive anger and how the rivalry between the two characters unfolds."
