Comedian and company CEO Song Eun-i has expressed her disappointment over the recent resignations of male employees.
On October 3rd, the YouTube channel 'VIVO TV - 비보티비' released a video titled 'A Trip to Seocheon with VIVO Male Employees & Seasonal Octopus Feast.' In the video, Song Eun-i is seen traveling to Seocheon, Chungnam, with her male employees for a volunteer activity.
During the trip, Song Eun-i remarked to her manager, "It seems like whenever I go on a trip with them, they end up quitting," referring to two male employees who had previously resigned. The manager responded, "They probably had other dreams."
Song Eun-i then added, "It's probably not because of me. Anyway, you need to help the new PDs do well. You can't quit either," eliciting laughter.
While traveling with the new PDs to Seocheon, Song Eun-i brought up the topic of the resigned male employees again. She asked a PD, "Who are you closest to in the company?" The male employee replied, "There are only two male employees." Song Eun-i commented, "It was almost the same before. Two would come, and two would leave." The conversation then fell into silence.
Trying to lighten the mood, Song Eun-i asked the male employee, "Do you have a favorite food?" He replied, "I like everything except for tasteless food," to which Song Eun-i responded, "What kind of answer is that? Do you not want to talk to me?"
Meanwhile, Song Eun-i, who debuted as a comedian on KBS in 1993, currently runs the companies 'Media Lab Seesaw' and 'Content Lab VIVO.' It is reported that 'Content Lab VIVO' achieved a revenue of 10 billion KRW and a net profit of 1 billion KRW in 2021.
