BTS's V Announces Military Discharge Date, Teases Future Plans


BTS member V has announced his military discharge date.

On November 1st, V shared a photo on his Instagram story. The image featured the text 'Sergeant Elio D-9'.

After posting the photo, V engaged with fans on the global fandom platform Weverse. A fan asked, "TaeTae (V's nickname), can I ask you two questions? What does the name Elio in the photo mean? Are you feeding the sheep again? Please explain." V responded, "It was my English name when I attended an old English fairy tale school. Yes, I'm feeding them grass. I even bought it."

V is set to be discharged on November 10th, alongside RM, after completing their service in the Military Police Special Duty Team (SDT). Following them, Jimin and Jungkook will be discharged on the 11th, and Suga, who is serving as a social service agent, will be released on the 21st.

Meanwhile, J-Hope appeared on singer Jung Jae-hyung's YouTube channel 'YoJungJaeHyung' in March, where he mentioned, "We need to prepare meticulously. I think we'll be gearing up for BTS-related activities as soon as we're discharged," hinting at BTS's full group comeback.
