BigHit Music announced on the 29th that j-hope will release his digital single 'Killin' It Girl (feat. GloRilla)' on November 13th at 1 PM KST.
'Killin' It Girl' is a hip-hop track that captures the feeling of falling in love at first sight. Through this song, j-hope aims to conclude his solo single project and showcase an expanded musical spectrum.
On the night of the 28th, the 'Charm of HOPE Concept Film' was released on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel, featuring a snippet of the new song's instrumental, drawing attention from fans with its heavy beats and rhythm.
The new track features American rapper GloRilla, who reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 with her album 'Glorius' last year. She was also named 'Best New Hip Hop Artist' at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
j-hope will debut 'Killin' It Girl' live during the 'j-hope Tour HOPE ON THE STAGE FINAL' at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on November 13th and 14th. Ahead of the comeback, concept photos and a music video teaser will be released sequentially.
Previously, j-hope expressed love and sincerity in 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' released in March, and conveyed feelings of infatuation in 'MONA LISA.' This new single wraps up the emotional narrative.
j-hope shared on Apple Music's 'The Zane Lowe Show' that he 'carefully considered the flow and order of emotions to structure the single project. The final song is personally the most cherished.'
