The popular K-pop group (G)I-DLE has reunited and is receiving significant attention after renewing their contracts.
On the October 17th episode of MBC's variety show 'The Manager', the complete lineup of (G)I-DLE, consisting of Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua, made an appearance.
Celebrating their 7th anniversary this year, Soyeon expressed her excitement about the group's renewed contracts, stating, "I'm happy we could all renew our contracts and continue together. We worked hard on this new album as a reunited group."
She added, "We debuted with the album 'I AM', and this time it's 'WE ARE'. We prepared it with a fresh mindset to introduce ourselves anew."
The group has adopted a unique 'one manager per member' system, drawing attention. Soyeon's manager explained, "Each member has a lot of individual schedules, so they each have their own manager, assigned based on their personality."
When asked about their satisfaction with their assigned members, Soyeon, Minnie, and Yuqi's managers responded affirmatively, while Miyeon and Shuhua's managers remained silent, surprising everyone.
Soyeon, who made a bold transformation with a short haircut, shared, "I thought it would be nice if one of us had a short haircut for this album, but it was hard to ask the others, so I just did it myself."
Soyeon's daily life was also revealed, showing her with a morning face mask and engaging in playful banter with her manager, who is the same age as her, born in 1998. The manager mentioned, "We even travel together during breaks," highlighting their close relationship.
Soyeon's manager, who was teased by the members for using a wallet-style phone case, explained, "Soyeon tends to lose things easily, so she uses this case."
Miyeon, known for her radiant skin, shocked viewers with the messy interior of her car. Her manager described it as comfortable, but another manager humorously called it "(G)I-DLE's lost and found center," causing laughter.
Meanwhile, Miyeon's manager confessed to having been in a secret relationship with a hairstylist for a year. Yuqi, who was the first to notice, said, "I saw a doll in Miyeon's manager's bag that the hairstylist also had. I knew about it a year ago but pretended not to."
When asked about the perks of an office romance, Miyeon's manager expressed gratitude, saying, "When my girlfriend is on a business trip, Miyeon lets her sit in the front seat, making it feel like a drive during a trip."
