Actors Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon have been honored with the Popularity Award.
On the 5th, the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony took place at the COEX D Hall in Gangnam, Seoul. The event was hosted by broadcaster Shin Dong-yup, actors Park Bo-gum, and Suzy. It was broadcast live on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4, with digital streaming available on Prism, Naver TV, and Chizich.
Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon, stars of 'Run Away with Sun-jae,' received the Popularity Award. Byeon expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am so thankful for this Popularity Award. I appreciate the fans who took time out of their busy lives to support me. Without your interest, I wouldn't be standing here today. I've received a lot of feedback while working on dramas, and the most memorable was that my work provided comfort. I will strive to be an actor who can continue to offer comfort. I love and thank my fans. Also, happy birthday to our CEO."
Kim Hye-yoon shared, "This award is very heavy, just like the love from my fans. I sincerely want to express my gratitude. You've always supported me quietly and with the same heart, and I hope we can continue to see each other for a long time. I will work hard to be an actress who gives back as much love as this award weighs."
