IVE (members: An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo) has added another music video to their 300 million views club.
According to their agency, Starship Entertainment, the music video for IVE's second single album 'LOVE DIVE' surpassed 300 million views on YouTube as of the afternoon of the 4th.
This achievement marks IVE's third music video to reach this milestone, following the title tracks 'I AM' from their first full-length album and 'After LIKE' from their third single.
Released on April 5, 2022, 'LOVE DIVE' delivers a bold and fearless message encouraging listeners to dive into love with courage. The music video features the six members transformed into the god of love, Cupid, showcasing diverse performances such as the 'Mirror Dance' and 'Diving Dance'.
Within just four months of their debut, IVE achieved ten wins on music shows with 'LOVE DIVE', establishing themselves as leading figures in the next generation of K-pop. The track also topped Melon's 2022 annual chart and was the most played and used song on Apple Music and TikTok in Korea for the year.
Additionally, 'LOVE DIVE' was named one of the 'Best K-pop Songs' and 'Best K-pop Albums' of 2022 by TIME magazine and topped TIDAL's 'K-pop: BEST OF 2022' chart, showcasing its global appeal.
Buoyed by this success, IVE received numerous awards, including the 'Best Song of the Year' at the 2022 Melon Music Awards, the 'Song of the Year' at the 2022 MAMA AWARDS, the 'Song of the Year' at the 2022 Asia Artist Awards, the Digital Song of the Year at the 37th Golden Disc Awards, and the Best Song Award at the 32nd Seoul Music Awards.
'LOVE DIVE' continues to prove its lasting popularity, appearing on the 2024 Melon annual chart and Circle Chart's annual 'Global K-pop Chart', 'Digital Chart', and 'Streaming Chart'. As of 11 AM on the 4th, it also re-entered the real-time charts of major domestic music sites like Bugs and Genie Music, maintaining its relevance three years post-release.
Meanwhile, IVE is set to premiere the first episode of their reality content '1.2.3 IVE Season 6' on their official YouTube channel on the 9th.
