LE SSERAFIM, the popular K-pop girl group, is set to release their new single 'DIFFERENT' in Japan this June.
On the 24th, at midnight, the group announced the release of their fourth Japanese single 'DIFFERENT' through their official social media channels, along with a captivating logo image. The image features a combination of elements such as hearts, roads, fences, and the group's logo, creatively forming the word 'DIFFERENT'.
Ahead of the single's release, LE SSERAFIM will embark on the '2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT' IN JAPAN'. The tour will take place in five cities: Nagoya on May 6-7, Osaka on May 13-14, Kitakyushu on June 7-8, and Saitama on June 12 and 14-15. The tour's timing, right before the new single's release, is expected to heighten anticipation among fans.
LE SSERAFIM continues to achieve remarkable success as a K-pop girl group in Japan. Their fifth mini-album 'HOT', released in Korea on March 14, sold 69,291 copies on its release day in Japan, securing the top spot on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking (as of March 15). All six of their Korean releases, including their debut album 'FEARLESS', have reached the top of this chart.
The album also topped the Weekly Digital Album Ranking (for the period of March 10-16) with just three days of sales, demonstrating the high level of interest from local fans. Additionally, 'HOT' has surpassed 100,000 shipments, earning a 'Gold' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan, following their first full album 'UNFORGIVEN', and mini-albums 'EASY' and 'CRAZY'.
