Red Velvet's Wendy has been voted as the number one female singer people want to study with for upcoming exams.
From October 10th to 16th, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female singer would you like to study with for the upcoming exams?' Wendy emerged as the top choice.
Recently, Wendy shared her feelings about leaving SM Entertainment. On October 4th, she communicated with fans via the platform Bubble, saying, "I wanted to personally greet the ReVeluvs who might be surprised," and added, "I have concluded my exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, with whom I've been for a long time, and am preparing for new challenges in a different environment." She expressed gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank the SM family for allowing me to debut as Red Velvet. Their support and consideration have made me who I am today."
In second place is Girls' Generation's Yuri. Since debuting in 2007, she has focused on her acting career, with her latest film 'Intruder' premiering last month. Reflecting on her role, she stated, "I tried to appear rough on the outside while emptying myself internally. I was eager to drastically change my image, so I welcomed this role."
Third place goes to Girls' Generation's Seohyun. The KBS2 drama 'I Stole the Male Lead's First Night,' in which she stars alongside Ok Taecyeon, has confirmed its premiere date after a three-month delay due to cultural heritage controversy. The drama tells the story of a college student whose soul enters a minor character in a romance novel, leading to a fantasy romance with the novel's obsessive male lead. Seohyun plays the role of 'Cha Seon-chek,' a character possessed by the college student, showcasing a romance that transcends dimensions.
Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which female singer would you like to bump into while flower viewing in the park?' and similar questions for male singers and trot singers.
