Tzuyang appeared at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul at 8:53 AM on the 16th as the complainant but exited by 9:35 AM.
Before the investigation, Tzuyang expressed her determination to clarify the situation, stating, "Since last July, Kim Se-ui has been spreading false information and harassing people around me. It was difficult to hear that the case was dismissed, but I intend to explain everything thoroughly."
She added, "It's tough to come forward like this, and I'm scared he might harass me again. But I want to prevent others from experiencing the same, so I will cooperate with the investigation today."
Despite her initial resolve, Tzuyang left the station after 40 minutes, saying, "I hope for a fair investigation. I am refusing to be questioned for now and will reconsider if necessary."
Tzuyang's lawyer, Kim Tae-yeon, commented, "It seemed like the police didn't view Tzuyang as a victim. There was no indication of protection for the victim, raising doubts about whether it's appropriate to proceed with the investigation through the current investigator."
He continued, "We left without knowing what supplementary investigation would be conducted. The police provided no information on standard procedures, leading to doubts about the fairness of the investigation."
He further stated, "We pointed out several unreasonable aspects, but it seems the investigative agency lacks the will to address them. We are considering filing a request to change the investigator, as the current process seems likely to yield the same results."
Meanwhile, Kim Se-ui was accused of defamation last July after exposing Tzuyang's alleged tax evasion and personal issues on the 'Gaseyeon' YouTube channel, repeatedly posting her photos and statements.
However, on February 12, the Gangnam Police Station decided not to forward the case, citing Tzuyang's withdrawal of the complaint as the reason for dismissing charges of violating the Information and Communications Network Act and threats. The stalking charges were also dismissed due to insufficient evidence. Tzuyang filed an objection, and the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office requested a supplementary investigation from the Gangnam Police Station on the 14th of last month.
