Ahead of its release on the evening of the 12th, still cuts from 'SNL Korea' Season 7 Episode 2 have been unveiled, showcasing highlight scenes that heighten anticipation. Seo Yea-ji, welcomed warmly by Shin Dong-yup and the 'SNL Korea' Season 7 crew, declared, "I will let everything go," and delivered a performance filled with laughter on set.
The released stills capture Seo Yea-ji in a green suit, exuding a cold yet intense charm with a blank expression, and various transformations that leave Kim Min-kyo and Shin Dong-yup in awe, sparking curiosity.
Seo Yea-ji's comedic prowess, despite 'SNL Korea' being her first comedy stage, combined with the seasoned performances of the crew, promises to immerse viewers in laughter. Additionally, Seo is expected to become a 'meme star' as she engages in a 'mantra' dance battle with Lee Soo-ji, with Kim Won-hoon in between. Seo's fearless acting transformation is anticipated to showcase her diverse charms in 'SNL Korea' Season 7 Episode 2.
Episode 2 will also feature the debut of three new crew members, Cha Kyung-eun, Jo Min-kyung, and Arata Momoko, who were selected through fierce competition. Their performances are highly anticipated as they aim to continue the legacy of stars produced by 'SNL Korea' and gain recognition as star crew members in Season 7.
Meanwhile, Seo Yea-ji was embroiled in controversy in 2021 over allegations of gaslighting her former boyfriend Kim Jung-hyun. Accusations of academic fraud and mistreatment of staff also surfaced.
After a hiatus, Seo became the subject of rumors involving Kim Soo-hyun. She had previously worked with Kim Soo-hyun in the 2020 tvN drama 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay.' Seo later signed an exclusive contract with Gold Medalist, the agency founded by Kim Soo-hyun's cousin, which led to dating rumors. Gold Medalist was the agency of the late Kim Sae-ron from January 1, 2020, to December 1, 2022.
In March, Seo Yea-ji expressed her complex feelings in a post on her official fan cafe. She stated, "As a human, it's really overwhelming, exhausting, tedious, sad, suffocating, and I keep enduring," adding, "I wish it would stop. I have no relationship with him or his brother. I don't even know why I have to clarify this, but today I feel very frustrated."
