BTS's Jin Joins Secretive Cast for Netflix's 'The Great Escape: Early Check-In'
The casting of BTS's Jin was conducted under strict secrecy.

On the 8th, a production presentation for Netflix's variety show 'The Great Escape: Early Check-In' Part 1 was held at Community House Masil in Jung-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by directors Jung Hyo-min, Lee So-min, and Hwang Yoon-seo.

'The Great Escape: Early Check-In' is an innovative variety show set in the unique Ulleungdo guesthouse, featuring Kian84, Jin, and Ji Ye-eun as they engage with guests in extraordinary ways. The show is a collaboration between director Jung Hyo-min and writer Yoon Shin-hye, known for 'Hyori's Homestay.'

Director Hwang Yoon-seo explained, "We took great care to keep Jin's appearance a secret. We wanted genuine emotions to emerge when the three met. Although they were initially awkward, they quickly became close, like siblings, through shared experiences."

Director Jung Hyo-min added, "The three first met on a boat. Kian84 and Ji Ye-eun were completely unaware of Jin's participation, capturing their genuine surprise."

'The Great Escape: Early Check-In' features Kian84 as the host, BTS's Jin as the 'all-rounder employee,' and Ji Ye-eun, who even obtained a watercraft license for the show. The series will release three episodes per week over three weeks, totaling nine episodes, starting from the 8th.
