On the 27th, Nayeon and Dahyun each contributed 50 million won to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, a social welfare fundraising organization, to support those affected by the wildfire in Ulsan's Ulju County.
The donation will be used to assist residents who have suffered due to the wildfire. Through their agency, JYP Entertainment, Nayeon and Dahyun expressed their condolences, stating, "We extend our deepest sympathies to those affected by the sudden wildfire. We hope that those facing hardships can return to their daily lives soon, and we are grateful to everyone working tirelessly on the ground to provide relief."
Both artists have been actively involved in charitable activities. Nayeon has consistently donated to causes such as COVID-19 prevention and recovery efforts, as well as medical support for low-income patients, and was inducted into the 'Honor Society' of major donors by the Community Chest of Korea in 2024. Dahyun also contributed 50 million won to a special fundraising campaign for COVID-19 relief in 2020 and, along with her TWICE bandmates, donated 200 million won in February 2023 to support children and families affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
TWICE continues to expand their global presence, with upcoming appearances as special guests at Coldplay's 'Music Of The Spheres World Tour' in April and headlining the renowned 'Lollapalooza Chicago' music festival on August 2nd, local time.
