On the 25th episode of 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2' (co-produced by MBN and Channel S), Jeon Hyun-moo returned to Seoul for the 23rd street episode, declaring a 'Seoul Pig Tour Special!' alongside 'food guests' Baek Ji-young and Mimi. Jeon Hyun-moo finally revealed his favorite sundae soup, which he had highly recommended to others like Kim Nam-gil, and showcased a 'food trip' by spontaneously visiting a 53-year-old traditional restaurant in Haebangchon, a trendy neighborhood among the MZ generation, and a bossam restaurant in Gongdeok Market.
Appearing at Seoul's Seolleung Station, Jeon Hyun-moo introduced his 'favorite sundae soup' by saying, "This is a restaurant I recommended to Kim Nam-gil, the first guest, and there's a line even at 4 PM on weekdays. One-third of the line is celebrities."
Jeon Hyun-moo greeted the restaurant owner warmly and ordered gukbap, suyuk, and traditional sundae, boasting, "Did you know I've been promoting this restaurant a lot?" The owner laughed, "I saw you enjoying it so much before that I couldn't refuse the filming." The production team then surprised Jeon Hyun-moo with the question, "Who were you with back then?" causing him to be flustered.
In high spirits from his 'favorite sundae soup,' Jeon Hyun-moo met Baek Ji-young and headed to Haebangchon. During the journey, Jeon Hyun-moo explained, "I've never been there either, but it's a genuine local place with only elderly people. It's a 53-year-old restaurant that has never been on TV." Baek Ji-young asked, "Did they start right after liberation?" to which Jeon Hyun-moo replied, "Are they about the same age as you?" He further explained, "It's not just any grandmother, but a Jeolla-do grandmother," and Baek Ji-young shared, "My mom's hometown is Suncheon, my dad's is Boseong, and my in-laws are from Haenam," expressing her delight.
Baek Ji-young also revealed her 'daughter fool' side when Jeon Hyun-moo asked, "Does your eight-year-old daughter like to eat?" She replied, "She eats very well. She says she looks like her dad but has her mom's inner self." She further expressed her desire for a second child, saying, "Having one daughter and one son would be great. I've never thought giving birth was hard."
Upon arriving at the Haebangchon restaurant, the two immediately attempted to secure filming permission. However, the owner refused, saying, "I run the business alone, so it would be hard if there are too many customers." Despite this, they pleaded, "We'll just use a small camera and film quietly," and eventually succeeded in getting permission. When the pork stir-fry with plenty of broth was served, Baek Ji-young showed her 'truthful frown' and finished two bowls of rice, while Jeon Hyun-moo focused on eating, exclaiming, "Game over!" After the meal, Jeon Hyun-moo asked about Baek Ji-young's music plans, advising, "Since it's your 25th debut anniversary, you need a song as big as 'I Won't Love.'" Baek Ji-young promoted her upcoming song, saying, "A song I've put a lot of effort into will be released soon. It's written by Kangta, and I really like it."
After a hearty meal of grandmother's home-cooked food, Jeon Hyun-moo parted ways with Baek Ji-young and headed to Gongdeok-dong, known as the 'holy land of office worker restaurants.' Recalling his days as an anchor at YTN in 2003, he shared, "I used to come here often for meals. Reporters love it." He then called Oh My Girl's Mimi, who nonchalantly replied, "I'm eating pancakes right now," surprising Jeon Hyun-moo. Mimi, who arrived at Gongdeok Market before Jeon Hyun-moo, was captivated by a buffet-style pancake restaurant and ordered various pancakes, showcasing her 'tongs eating show.' Jeon Hyun-moo scolded, "How can you eat first when we agreed to meet?" and Mimi hurriedly packed the remaining pancakes and headed to the bossam restaurant recommended by Jeon Hyun-moo.
Regarding the bossam restaurant with a striking red sign, Jeon Hyun-moo commented, "This place specializes in a single menu," and added, "The owner's presence seems extraordinary," feeling nervous. Cautiously entering the restaurant, Jeon Hyun-moo greeted the owner and attempted to secure filming permission, but the owner firmly refused, "No filming." Jeon Hyun-moo, taken aback, appealed to his memories as a rookie employee, saying, "We won't inconvenience the customers. We'll only use a small camera," and even enlisted guest Mimi to help persuade the owner.
Seated comfortably, Jeon Hyun-moo noticed only 'bossam' on the menu and remarked, "The presence here is no joke," asking the staff, "How long has this place been here?" The staff replied, "48 years," and Mimi asked, "Is that older than you, senior?" leaving Jeon Hyun-moo dizzy. Having previously teased Baek Ji-young about age, Jeon Hyun-moo now found himself 'attacked' by Mimi, protesting, "Do you think I'm 60?"
Finally, the bossam was served, and Jeon Hyun-moo took a big bite with red kimchi and thickly sliced meat topped with salted shrimp. Mimi, tasting only the pure meat, exclaimed, "I'm not exaggerating, it's really sweet. I've never had bossam like this!" The owner shared with the two, "Cabbage prices have gone up, but I haven't raised the price. Sometimes there's a surplus, and sometimes there's a loss, but that's business." Jeon Hyun-moo praised, "This is the best thing I've eaten today. It rivals my 'favorite sundae soup restaurant,'" as he left the bossam restaurant.
Lastly, the two moved to a restaurant in Seodaemun-gu to conclude the 'Pig Tour.' This place specialized in 'pork offal,' and Jeon Hyun-moo, seated with permission for only a self-cam, tasted 'saekkibo' (pig uterus) for the first time in his life. However, he frowned immediately after tasting it, heightening curiosity about his honest taste evaluation.
The identity of the pork offal restaurant and Jeon Hyun-moo's real 'saekkibo tasting review' can be seen on 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2.'
