John Park Transforms into a Star Lecturer to Unveil the Meaning Behind His New Song 'BLUFF'

Singer John Park has transformed into a star lecturer.

On the 16th, John Park released a video titled 'Interpreting John Park's New Song BLUFF with Star Lecturer Park Sung-kyuT' on his official YouTube channel.

In the video, John Park took on the role of a star lecturer using his Korean name, Park Sung-kyu. He passionately explained the English lyrics of 'BLUFF,' a pre-release track from his upcoming full-length album, released on the 9th.

John Park described the meaning of the song's title 'BLUFF' as "a boast mixed with bravado," and proceeded to divide the lecture into four verses and an ending section. He meticulously interpreted each English sentence, enhancing the audience's engagement with the song.

Discussing the relationship between the male and female characters in the song, John Park wrote on the blackboard that the man is a saint and the woman is a flirt, summarizing the story as "a timid man who eventually explodes after enduring, while the woman continues to fool around outside," aiding quick comprehension of the song's narrative.

While discussing the final lyrics about a man who is hurt but still can't forget her, John Park humorously advised, "When you have friends in a wrong relationship or not studying, you should tell them to 'get a grip,'" drawing laughter with his sharp yet witty advice.

Regarding the differences between the demo version and the released track, John Park mentioned, "The song felt like it ended quickly. There was a slight feeling of regret, but the gospel elements, chorus, and the last few lines of the song, although they are bluffing, actually convey everything I wanted to say, giving a refreshing feeling." When asked about the song's conclusion, he replied, "The Movie Was Open-Ended. This song is like that too."

John Park concluded the lecture by saying, "Please leave your reviews of today's song 'BLUFF' in the comments. That's today's homework."

'BLUFF,' released on the 9th, is a pre-release track from the full-length album 'PSST!' set to be released on the 30th. Previously, John Park released the first pre-release tracks 'VISTA (feat. Gaeko, THAMA)' and 'NIGHTCRAWLER' last summer, and appeared on the YouTube channel 'Killing Voice' to surprise fans with the title track 'Like a Dream' and the unreleased track 'STUTTER,' raising anticipation.

'PSST!' is John Park's first full-length album in 11 years since 'INNER CHILD' in 2013. The second pre-release track 'BLUFF' is one of the tracks from the album and is a spoiler track that only John Park can present, blending his soulful voice with diverse arrangements to create a splendid jazz-pop track.

Meanwhile, John Park will release his full-length album 'PSST!' on the 30th at 6 PM.
