In the SBS entertainment program 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2', which aired on the afternoon of the 15th, Oh Jeong-tae was shown visiting his sister's house with his wife Baek A-young to welcome his future niece-in-law.
On this day, as soon as Baek Ah-young arrived at her sister-in-law's house, she said, "I think I need to ventilate," and worried, "My niece-in-law-to-be may come and surprise me." Baek A-young then began to find dust in her sister-in-law's house, and Oh Jeong-tae said, "My wife cleaned my sister-in-law's house a lot. “My sister is also waiting for my wife to come,” he said.
Baek A-young recalled the first time she went to her in-laws' house and said, "A long time ago, when I first came to my mother's house, I just walked in and it felt a little like I had come to Southeast Asia. It had a musty smell, like an underground room. What was shocking was that a king cockroach passed by. My mother grabbed me by the hand and pushed me against the wall. “I didn’t wrap it in toilet paper but put it aside,” he said, surprising people.
Baek A-young began by saying to her prospective niece-in-law, "This is the first daughter-in-law after me. I want to help her a lot," and added, "My in-laws taste like Mala."
He then advised, "You will always get a lot of calls on the weekend. They will ask you to go to church or go camping. I hope you treat them well." Oh Jeong-tae revealed, "My sister likes group rooms. She doesn't talk on the phone, but talks a lot through chat."
In response to Oh Jeong-tae's question about how the atmosphere at home was, the prospective daughter-in-law reluctantly answered, "I'm jealous," and Oh Jeong-tae said, "Then I'll invite you to the group room right away," embarrassing the prospective niece-in-law. Oh Jeong-tae also crossed the line by saying, "How about we go on a honeymoon together?" and laughed at the embarrassed look of his future niece-in-law.
Oh Jeong-tae also hosted an event with his wife, Baek A-young, at the senior school attended by his father in the early stages of dementia. Oh Jeong-tae said, “My father’s expression really brightened after going to the senior school. He said he really likes this place because of the pretty grandmothers.”
Oh Jeong-tae sang 'Gapjiliya' for his father, and his wife Baek A-young also joined as a dancer. Even during meal times, my father was satisfied and said, “The rice tastes the best.” When asked which rice tasted better compared to the rice he eats at home, he answered, “I like it because it’s clean.” In response, Baek A-young told her mother-in-law, “Mother, please clean up.”
