Pledis Rookie TWS successfully completes debut show

TWS (Tours) announced its debut to the world.

TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) met fans around the world through their global debut show 'TWS Nice to Meet You,' which aired simultaneously on Mnet, M2, and Hive Labels YouTube channel at 7 PM on the 22nd. The debut show, which opened with the members' self-introductions, was conducted with a talk show concept. They continued cute corners such as surprise cameras with special people, random games, and campfire talks, while also unveiling the performance of four songs from their debut mini-album, 1st mini album 'Sparkling Blue', for the first time.

In the debut show, the members generously showed off their charm with the freshness and unique entertainment sense that can be felt from a rookie who has just debuted. From the beginning, Do-hoon was faced with an unexpected situation where he had to sit on a broken chair, but he showed a sense that was not typical of a rookie by quickly holding on to the transparent chair position, which even embarrassed the production team.

An unexpected person also graced the debut show. Seventeen's Seungkwan made a surprise appearance through the camera. Each member selected a number and performed a mission to promote their debut song by calling a randomly combined number, and the person they called was Seungkwan. Seungkwan spoke to TWS while hiding his identity and asked difficult questions. TWS, who was sweating and saying things like “My hands are sweating” and “Is this real?” during a phone call with an ‘unknown person’, seemed moved when the production team finally revealed Seungkwan’s identity. Afterwards, Seungkwan said in a video, “I hope (TWS) does well, and my brother will do his best to stream. I will also work hard to promote it. TWS, fighting!” they cheered, creating a warm feeling with their close-knit seniors and juniors.

In addition, TWS showed off their strong teamwork by holding 'Sparkling Day' where they split into two teams and went on an outing, and 'Bonfire Time' where they had honest conversations. In particular, TWS made a strong first impression as a talented idol by unveiling the four songs included in 'Sparkling Blue' for the first time at their debut show. Starting with the pre-released song 'Oh Mymy: 7s', which opened its debut show with powerful group dance, 'unplugged boy' set the stage with the concept of a high school band, and 'BFF' presented a spectacular performance using a desk, followed by a refreshing performance. However, they even performed the title song 'First Meeting Doesn't Go As Planed', which immediately caught everyone's attention with its powerful choreography.

TWS also held a fan showcase at 9 PM on this day and actively communicated with fans offline. At the fan showcase, TWS performed the performances of 'First Meeting Doesn't Go As Planed', 'Oh Mymy: 7s', and 'BFF', as well as the rookie's creative skills such as jumping rope, re-enacting music video scenes, demonstrating music show ending poses, and freestyle dancing. It received an enthusiastic response from fans who visited the site for its various attractive corners.

Meanwhile, TWS, who released their debut mini album 'Sparkling Blue' at 6 PM on the 22nd, is scheduled to appear on the popular web entertainment show 'Civilization Express' today (23rd).
