In the 14th episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'My Demon', which aired on the 13th, Do Do-hee and Go-won (played by Song Kang) faced the secret behind the death of Do Do-hee's (played by Kim Yoo-jung) parents. The fact that Do Hee-bu (played by Kim Young-jae) was Gu-won's contractor shocked Do-hee, and the sight of Go-won accepting his fate and letting Do Do-hee go was sad. The viewership rating for the 14th episode recorded an average of 3.7%, and the highest rating at the moment soared to 5% (based on Nielsen Korea's metropolitan area).
On this day, Noh Seok-min (played by Kim Tae-hoon) went missing. Guwon immediately overpowered Noh Seok-min, who was going on a rampage while strangling Do Do-hee, and the situation turned around, and Noh Seok-min, who was in danger, threw himself down the building. Kim Se-ra (Jo Yeon-hee) went to the police station and reported all of Noh Seok-min's atrocities. As a result, the truth that the culprit who murdered Chairman Joo Cheon-sook (Kim Hae-sook) was Noh Seok-min became known to the world, and his body was never found.
Do Do-hee was suspicious about Noh Seok-min's death, but Gu-won reassured her, saying that the ability to teleport to Noh Seok-min's location does not work. However, the meaningful story that Noh Seok-min left behind disturbed Do Do-hee's mind. The person who killed Do Do-hee's parents was Joo Cheon-suk. Do Do-hee couldn't shake off those words easily, and Gu-won's heart wasn't at ease as she looked at Do Do-hee who was confused.
Do Do-hee gradually grew suspicious of Joo Cheon-suk. In the past, when his parents passed away, he was puzzled by the sight of him standing on his own in the family photo brought to him by Joo Cheon-suk and Noh Seok-min, who were using a cane in the 'Future Electronics' article. Do Do-hee asked Shin Shin-seo (played by Seo Jeong-yeon), who worked as Joo Cheon-sook's assistant, when did Joo Cheon-suk start using a cane, and his answer that it was around the time of Do Do-hee's parents' funeral shook Do-hee violently. In the past, Joo Cheon-suk, who was blinded by greed, committed corruption to grow the company, and suffered from guilt due to an accident that occurred during a fight with Do Hee-bu, who tried to stop him. And the fact that Do Hee-bu was the contractor for the salvation of the 'devil' led to an uncontrollable shock.
Do Hee hid her complex emotions and faced salvation. He returned home and cried silently out of sight. Guwon, who noticed Do Do-hee's unusual mood, visited the cathedral again. The bride was not surprised. He said to Guwon, “Leave Dohee. “You are a dangerous person,” he said, revealing that Joo Cheon-sook had met Gu-won in the past. Guwon, who remembered the time when he signed a contract with Do Hee-bu, was also overcome with sadness and confusion.
Do Hee visited the Sunwol Foundation with the hope that salvation might have saved her father's life. But again, I encountered a shocking sight. I personally witnessed a situation where Gu Gu retrieved the soul of a contractor who was crying out for his life. Do Hee escaped from there in fear. Guwon, who found out later, followed him, but could not get closer to Do Dohee, who was retreating. The sight of the two people feeling distant and Do Do-hee falling into despair, saying, “The people I love have become hell to me,” was heartbreaking.
Do-hee Do-hee, who gathered her emotions and left the company, found salvation waiting for her. When he held out his hand and told her to walk, Do Hee held his hand without saying a word. When Guwon tried to say the words he had been holding back, Do Do-hee tried to act bright and brought up the story of Christmas first. But Guwon stopped right there, saying that he didn’t think they could spend Christmas together. Guwon let go of his hand, saying, “I will save you from hell,” and Do Hee, who turned around to see his empty seat, shed tears endlessly. Following Do Do-hee's narration, 'That's how my salvation disappeared,' the tree-lined road filled with light added to the heartbreak as Do Do-hee presented an unfinished Christmas tree to Do-hee.
