Director Taika Waititi and Michael Fassbender's film 'Next Goal Winds', released on January 24th.

Director Taika Waititi and actor Michael Fassbender's 'Next Goal Ones' has confirmed its domestic release on January 24th.

'Next Goal Wins' is a film that tells the true story of the hot-headed coach Thomas Rongen, who was newly appointed to the American Samoa national team, which is at the bottom of the FIFA rankings, and the delightful challenge of unique players to score just one goal.

The main poster shows a colorful bus against the backdrop of the majestic natural scenery of American Samoa. It is pictured leaving for the next game with a car full of players from the American Samoa soccer team.

The main trailer captures the sweat and tears that Thomas Rongen, a soccer coach who was unsatisfactorily fired from a famous club, experiences as he takes on a new job at the weakest American Samoa team. The scene of the 31-0 defeat of the American Samoa team, which has not scored a single goal since the national team was founded, along with the copy "You may not believe it, but it's true," foreshadows the trials ahead.

However, it is said that the team and the manager are gradually changing in harmony. As the copy reads, “The success story of the weakest team that suffered the biggest defeat in history,” an exciting rebellion by the underdogs is expected to occur.
