The sweet and salty romance between Park Hyung-sik and Park Shin-hye unfolds.
On the 29th, JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Doctor Slump' released the second teaser video. The story of two people permeating each other is already tickling my heart. 'Doctor Slump' is a romantic comedy depicting the cardiopulmonary resuscitation of Yeo Jeong-woo (played by Park Hyeong-sik) and Nam Ha-neul (played by Park Shin-hye), whose lives were only on the upward curve but then hit the brakes. The process of two rivals reuniting in a dark time of life and becoming each other's light will bring laughter, excitement, empathy, and comfort.
As expectations rise as the veil is lifted, the second teaser video released on this day focuses attention on the subtle currents of Yeo Yeong-woo and Nam Ha-neul, the boy and girl of those days when they met again. The two men and women face each other in today's life, suffering from slump and burnout, without going through the hateful rivalry mode of competing for first place in the entire school.
Above all, awkward and shy eye contact at a close distance raises the heart rate. Here, along with the image of Yeo Yeong-woo holding Nam Ha-neul's wrist, his confession, "My life is so salty, but yours is so sweet, it was like eating candy in a salt farm," further raises the excitement index. Above all, the friendly (?) chemistry of bickering as if going back to school days makes you smile, but the sweet eyes with a completely different atmosphere than before stimulates curiosity about the structure of their relationship.
Park Hyung-sik plays Yeo Yeong-woo, a star plastic surgeon who falls into the worst slump of his life. From his school days when he was ranked first in the entire school to becoming a star doctor with both talent and personality, Yeo Yeong-woo's life has been truly solid. However, due to a mysterious medical accident, he is pushed to the edge. Park Hyeong-sik, who returns to a romantic comedy after a long time, is looking forward to the birth of a new life character.
Park Shin-hye plays Nam Ha-neul, an anesthesiologist suffering from burnout syndrome. Nam Ha-neul, who was called a genius from birth, became obsessed with studying with his brilliant mind and hard work, and even after becoming a doctor, he became an adult who was crazy about work. He looks back on his life, which has suddenly become ruined, and pledges to change. The return of romantic comedy queen Park Shin-hye, who needs no explanation, is also raising expectations.
‘Doctor Slump’ will premiere on January 27, 2024.
