Singer Kim Ho-joong visited Turkana, Kenya with the Korean Committee for UNICEF and met local children.
According to the UNICEF Korean Committee on the 28th, Kim Ho-joong visited the Turkana region in Kenya with the UNICEF Korean Committee from the 28th of last month to December 3.
Kim Ho-jung's visit to Turkana, Kenya, was part of 'Light of Hope, Blue Lighting', which was planned as tvN's first fundraising broadcast, together with the Korean Committee for UNICEF to shed light on the lives of children in crisis around the world and encourage social interest and support. It was planned.
Kim Ho-joong, who personally visited Kenya, met children suffering from poor food, clothing, and housing conditions, including Shadrak, a 12-year-old boy who lost his parents and is taking care of his three younger siblings. Kim Ho-jung encouraged interest by saying, "I came back from the field feeling more and more that even our small interest and help can be a great comfort and courage to these children. I would be grateful if more people would be interested in the children's stories."
Previously, Kim Ho-joong continued to have a positive influence by donating 50 million won to children affected by the Turkic-Syria earthquake in February of this year, and fan cafe Tvarotti also participated by donating 175 million won.
Meanwhile, detailed stories about Kim Ho-joong's visit to Kenya can be found on tvN's 'Light of Hope, Blue Lighting' on January 24, 2024.
