Gong Myung returns to the screen after being discharged from military service with ‘Citizen Deokhee’


Actor Gong Myung announced his first return after discharge from the military as Jae-min in the movie 'Citizen Deok-hee' (directed by Park Young-joo).

'Citizen Deok-hee' is a thrilling chase drama that unfolds when Deok-hee, an ordinary citizen who has been subjected to voice phishing, receives a rescue request from Jae-min, a member of the organization who scammed her.

Jaemin, who played the role in 'Citizen Deok-hee', Gong-myeong's first return after being discharged from the military, works as an assistant manager for a voice phishing organization and puts Deok-hee (Ra Mi-ran) in trouble, but ends up collaborating with her in an unexpected way. Communicating with Deokhee, a voice phishing victim, over the phone will provide endless tension.

The character Jaemin, a college student, sees an advertisement for a high-paying part-time job and immediately applies. At first, he thought he could make a lot of money in a short period of time by simply working at the Chinese branch, but as soon as he arrived in China, he was kidnapped by a voice phishing organization and was stranded. Jaemin, who dreamed of escape every day, one day feels hope in the voice of victim Deokhee.

The movie ‘Citizen Deok-hee’ will be released on January 24, 2024.
