The casting for director Jae-rim Han's first series, 'The 8 Show', has been revealed.

'The 8 Show' is a work that tells the story of 8 people who are trapped in a secret space divided into 8 floors and participate in a sweet but dangerous show where they earn money over time. Director Han Jae-rim, who is in charge of directing, has produced ‘The Facelift’, ‘The King’, and ‘Emergency Declaration’.

It is an adaptation of the Naver webtoons 'Money Game' and 'Pygame' by Bae Jin-soo, which drew 300 million views globally by depicting the primal desires of characters who clash in a capitalist society.

Ryu Jun-yeol, who won Best Actor awards at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards and the 28th Chunsa International Film Festival for 'The Owl', reunites with director Han Jae-rim following 'The King'. Chun Woo-hee shows off her strong acting transformation in the Netflix movies 'I Just Dropped My Smartphone', 'I Want to See Your Parents' Faces', and 'Anchor'.

Park Jung-min has established himself as an actor who can be trusted and watched through Netflix movies such as 'Time to Hunt', 'Deliver Us from Evil', and 'Smuggling'. Lee Yeol-eum from the drama ‘I Know But’. Park Hae-joon in the movie 'Spring in Seoul' and the drama 'The World of the Married'. Lee Joo-young in the Netflix movie ‘Doctor War 2’.

Moon Jeong-hee, who shows weighty acting in ‘Limit’, ‘Cart’, and ‘Hide and Seek’. Bae Seong-woo, who showed a strong presence in 'The Man', 'Ansi-seong', and 'The King', will be divided into eight participants each, depicting repeated cooperation, confrontation, hostility, and betrayal.

'The 8 Show' will be released on Netflix in 2024.
