The highly anticipated film 'Seoul Spring' is a collaboration between director Kim Seong-soo, Hwang Jung-min, Jung Woo-sung, Lee Seong-min, Park Hae-joon, and Kim Sung-gyun, and is also raising expectations with special appearances by Jeong Man-sik, Jung Hae-in, and Lee Jun-hyuk.

'Spring in Seoul' is a movie depicting the 9 hours of desperate action to prevent the rebellion of the new military regime that occurred in the capital, Seoul, on December 12, 1979.

Jeong Man-sik will play the role of Special Forces Commander Gong Soo-hyuk, one of the three people in charge of the defense of the metropolitan area along with Capital Security Command Commander Lee Tae-shin (Jung Woo-sung) and Military Police Superintendent Kim Jun-yeop (Kim Sung-kyun), and will leave a strong impression with his unique charisma.

Director Kim Seong-soo believed, "Gong Soo-hyuk had to be Jeong Man-sik. Only Jeong Man-sik can play such a strong man who protects the honor and pride of a special forces commander even at the risk of death." As if responding to that belief, Jeong Man-sik shows Gong Soo-hyuk himself, who stood tall like a rocky mountain and fought against injustice until the end.

Jung Hae-in played the role of Major Oh Jin-ho, a special forces soldier who stood by the special forces commander until the end against the attack of the 4th Airborne Brigade, which came to subdue the commander. Director Kim Seong-su, who was impressed by Jung Hae-in's acting in 'DP', asked director Han Jun-hee for help. Here, Lee Joon-hyuk makes a surprise appearance as the bodyguard of Chief of Staff Jeong Sang-ho (Lee Seong-min), giving the audience yet another joy. Director Kim Seong-soo said that he felt both gratitude and surprise that Lee Jun-hyuk appeared in the film even though he had a small role. Regarding this, Lee Jun-hyuk said, "I decided to appear because the story was interesting and I wanted to be on the set with director Kim Seong-soo." Director Kim Seong-soo also expressed his gratitude to Lee Jun-hyuk, saying, "Every time I came to the filming site, he came and acted happily. I was very attracted to him because he was a soft, gentle, and boy-like and innocent person, and if the opportunity arises, I would like to meet him in a better role next time."
