According to YG Entertainment on the 4th, Blackpink's 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' music video exceeded 2 billion views on YouTube at 8:57 am on this day. It has been about 4 years and 5 months since it was released on June 15, 2018. This shows the continued interest of global fans.

'DDU-DU DDU-DU' is breaking the record for the first, highest, and most views of a K-pop group music video on YouTube every minute and second. In fact, looking at the recent trend of increase in views, the number in the hundreds of millions of views has been surpassed every 3 to 5 months, so new records are expected in the future.

‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ is the title song of Blackpink’s first mini album ‘SQUARE UP’. The addictive chorus and point choreography that resembles shooting a pistol with both hands gained popularity, making it the most viewed K-pop music video in the world in 2018.
