NEXZ to Make Global Festival Debut at Rock in Rio 2026
JYP Entertainment's boy group NEXZ has been announced as part of the lineup for Brazil's massive music festival, 'Rock in Rio'.

NEXZ, consisting of members Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Gun, Seita, Huey, and Yuki, will perform on the opening stage on September 11, 2026, at the 'Rock in Rio' festival held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This marks their first appearance at a global music festival since their debut. They will open the festival ahead of their JYP seniors, Stray Kids, who will be the first K-pop headliners on the same day.

'Rock in Rio' is one of the world's largest music festivals, originating in Rio de Janeiro in 1985 and expanding to locations like Lisbon, Madrid, and Las Vegas. The festival has hosted legendary artists such as Queen, Guns N' Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Muse. NEXZ, known for their solid live performances and exceptional stage presence, is expected to leave a strong impression on the global audience.

Since their global debut in May 2024 with the single 'Ride the Vibe', NEXZ has been making waves in music, performance, and various content appearances, establishing themselves as a 'global rising star'. They have won multiple awards at music ceremonies like 'ASEA 2025', '2025 TMA', '2025 KGMA', and the '10th Anniversary AAA 2025'. They kicked off 2026 by winning two awards at the '2026 Dear Awards'.

In February, NEXZ's live tour in Japan, 'NEXZ LIVE TOUR 2025 "One Bite"', was a success, with their performance at Budokan topping the Oricon weekly music DVD & BD rankings (February 16-22, 2026).

Riding this momentum, NEXZ will hold a special concert, 'NEXZ SPECIAL CONCERT ', in Hong Kong on March 28 and 29. In May, they will embark on their first arena tour in Japan, 'NEXZ LIVE TOUR 2026', marking their debut Asian tour this year.
