Jo Bo-ah “A hopeful character in loneliness”
Actress Jo Bo-ah has achieved great success by creating another life-long character.

JTBC's 'This Love Is Force Majeure' (written by Noh Ji-seol, directed by Nam Ki-hoon, produced by SLL and C-JeS Studio), which ended on the 12th, is about Lee Hong-jo, a low-ranking civil servant who obtains a banned book that was completely sealed 300 years ago, and Jang Shin, a lawyer who becomes a victim of the banned book. Yu’s irresistible romance. In the play, Jo Bo-ah played a wide range of roles, playing the role of Hongjo, a civil servant at Onju City Hall with an irresistible charm that one cannot help but love, and Primrose, a shaman with a heartrending narrative.

In particular, Jo Bo-ah, who is an irrefutable 'rom-com goddess' who has digested not only romantic comedies but also thrillers and historical dramas, created legendary scenes in every episode with her solid acting skills, and was ranked the top performer overall as announced by a K-content competitiveness analysis agency. He showed off his dignity as a leading actor leading a work by rising to second place in .

Jo Bo-ah, who has all the visuals, acting skills, and topicality, gave a sincere Q&A to soothe the disappointed hearts of loyal listeners, including her thoughts on the end of the show.

Q. You once again showed off your romantic comedy as Lee Hong-jo, a character with a confident yet lovable charm. Is there a part of your acting that you paid the most attention to?

- I thought that Hongjo's positive and bright energy could overlap a lot with my usual personality. I tried to infuse many of the small and special characteristics of the human Jo Bo-ah into Hongjo, and I am thankful that viewers appreciated those aspects.

Q. In the past, the character called ‘Primrose’ with a blushing face also received a lot of love. How do you feel about it?

- I thought that Primrose's narrative would be a very big key point in 'This Love Is Force Majeure', so I focused on the situation the character was in and the sorrowful and sad feelings when filming, and I am proud that many people loved the past life scenes.

Q. How was acting with your co-star Rowoon (Jang Shin-yu, playing Mujin)?

- Rowoon is an actor who has a lot of passion and greed, and works very hard to express his character. We created diverse and interesting sums through conversation, and it was fun throughout the filming. I think chemistry was created by sharing and communicating with each other about what we had prepared for each scene on set. I learned a lot as a colleague while working on this project together.

Q. The unique chemistry between actors Lee Bong-ryeon, Hyun Bong-sik, Park Hye-kyung, and Miram, who play the roles of 'Ma Eun-young', 'Gong Seo-gu', 'Son Sae-byeol', and 'Yoo Soo-jeong' of the Onju City Hall family, was also impressive. How was the teamwork and on-site atmosphere with them?

- Needless to say, it was perfect teamwork. Actors Lee Bong-ryeon, Hyeon Bong-sik, Park Kyeong-hye, and Miram, who were part of the Onju City Hall family, all made their characters more than 200% perfect, so it was always a busy scene with people laughing. So, I was excited and happy every time I went to Onju City Hall.

Q. As you bid farewell to Hongjo and Primrose, please give your final greetings to the viewers.

- I have a lot of regrets and feel sad. I feel very attached to Hongjo because he is a hopeful and bright child who lives courageously and positively despite loneliness. Rather, I received a lot of that lively energy and had a lot of fun while acting.

We sincerely thank all the viewers who have watched and supported ‘This Love Is Force Majeure’. Although this is my last farewell as Hong Jo, I will meet viewers with another character in another work. Thank you^^!
