In the 7th episode of 'Missing 2', the Three Musketeers Kim Wook (played by Go Soo), Jang Pan-seok (played by Heo Jun-ho), and Lee Jong-ah (played by Ahn So-hee) accelerate their search for the body of Iro-ha (played by Kim Ha-eon), a child spirit from Soul Village Complex 3, while running. The story of Iroha, who dreamed of being first place, was revealed and it broke my heart.
Oil Yong (Kim Dong-hwi) expressed his deep guilt and revealed the reason why he came to Industrial Complex 3. In the past, Oh Yoo-yong started working with his friend Kim Pil-jung (played by Jeong Yun-jae) to earn money for his mother's hospital expenses, and later found out that he was delivering drugs. Meanwhile, he was overcome with guilt after seeing the news that a father who was drunk on drugs he had delivered killed his son, and while on his way to turn himself in, he was stabbed by Kim Pil-joong. Afterwards, Oh Il-yong, who entered the 3rd industrial complex and followed Kim Pil-jung's footsteps, gave Kim Pil-jung's hotel room number to Kim Wook and helped the drug squad in its operation to eliminate drug gangs. However, 'Goliath' Kim Pil-joong, the head of the drug organization, had already disappeared after a word from 'that person', raising curiosity about the identity of 'that person' behind it.
Jang Pan-seok paid attention to the repetitive tree drawings he drew in order to find out the truth behind the death of Iroha, the child spirit of Industrial Complex 3. He realized that the pictures Iroha drew were not separate but one huge forest. In the attached picture, I found mountain location signs numbered 1-8. Lee Jong-ah, who heard this, quickly conducted a search and focused attention on Cheonjungsan Mountain as the place with the highest probability of where Iroha's body is located among the mountains with the same mountain location sign. Afterwards, the three musketeers, Kim Wook, Jang Pan-seok, and Lee Jong-ah, who set out to find Iroha's body, encountered Baek Il-du (played by Ji Dae-han), a member of the missing persons team, who happened to be visiting Cheonjungsan Mountain. Accordingly, Jong-ah Lee emphasized location signs 1-8. Baek Il-du began a search based on the trio's tip.
Meanwhile, the truth surrounding Iroha's death was revealed, causing sadness. In the past, Iroha lived homeless with her mother after her father was imprisoned. Then one day, the mother was forcibly transferred to a mental hospital seeking support money. Iroha fell to his death while chasing the ambulance carrying his mother. Moreover, it was revealed that the reason why Iroha dreamed of becoming first place in running at the sports competition was to run faster than the ambulance and get to her mother, which brought viewers to tears.
Finally, on the day of the sports festival at the Soul Village Complex 3, Iroha started running desperately, clutching the police medal she received from Go Sang-cheol (played by Nam Hyun-woo) in her hand. Iroha, who was in last place every time, beat all of her friends and miraculously crossed the finish line in first place. And at that moment, the body was discovered and the soul was sublimated amidst everyone's celebration. Captain Kang's narration, "The lonely child who came eight years ago left today with applause from everyone," added to the dark lingering feeling.
