Actors Park Eun-bin (30) and Kim Min-ha (27) are heading to the U.S. Critics' Choice Awards. Attention will be paid to who will lift the trophy.

Park Eun-bin and Kim Min-ha will attend the 28th American Critics Choice Awards, scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, USA on the 15th (local time), respectively, at ENA's 'Weird Lawyer Woo Young-woo' (director Yoo In-sik, hereinafter 'Woo Young-woo') and Apple TV+ ‘Pachinko’ (Director Kogonada) confirmed attendance.

'Woo Young-woo' and 'Pachinko' were nominated for the Best Foreign Language Series award at this awards ceremony. In addition, '1899' (Netflix), 'Prime Minister Birgit' (Netflix), 'Garcia!' (HBO Max), 'The Kingdom Exodus' (movie), 'Cleo' (Netflix), 'My Brilliant Friend' ( HBO) and ‘Tehran’ (Apple TV+) will compete for the Best Foreign Language Series trophy.

There is great interest in whether Park Eun-bin and Kim Min-ha will be able to defeat their competitors and take home the glorious trophy.

Previously, Netflix's original drama 'Squid Game' (directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk) made history by winning two awards at the awards ceremony. ‘Squid Game’ won trophies for Best Foreign Language Series and Best Actor (Lee Jung-jae).

The movie ‘Decision to Break Up’ (directed by Park Chan-wook) was also nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film Award. ‘All is well on the Western Front’ (Germany), ‘Argentina, 1985’ (Argentina), ‘Bardo, a false chronicle mixed with a bit of truth’ (Mexico), ‘Close’ (Belgium), ‘RRR: Rise Lower Revolt’ (India) ) is a competing work.

Director Park Chan-wook was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 2005 and 2016 Critics' Choice Awards for 'Old Boy' and 'The Handmaiden', respectively, but failed to win the award. Attention is being paid to whether this ‘Decision to Break Up’ will allow them to enjoy the joy of winning.

Previously, in 2020, our film 'Parasite' (directed by Bong Joon-ho) was nominated in seven categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Ensemble, Best Art, Best Editing, and Best Foreign Language Film, and had the joy of winning in two categories, including Best Director and Best Foreign Language Film. I have enjoyed it.

In particular, we have won the Critics' Choice Awards for three consecutive years for 'Parasite' in 2020, 'Minari' (director Lee Isaac Chung) in 2021, and 'Squid Game' in 2022, and this year, our K Contents collected trophies for the fourth consecutive year. The point of interest is whether they can set a record of winning awards.

Meanwhile, the Critics' Choice Awards is an award in which the Critics' Choice Association (CCA), the largest critics' organization in North America, including the United States and Canada, evaluates the work of broadcasts and movies and the acting skills of actors.
