Actress Jin Ji-hee revealed that the 'Seagull' team does not have time to lose weight thanks to Baek Jong-won, the husband of her senior So Yoo-jin.
So Yoo-jin and Jin Ji-hee are seniors and juniors at Dongguk University. The feeling of working together through ‘Seagull’ must be special.
Jin Ji-hee said of So Yoo-jin, "I was very nervous. Since she is a senior, when acting from the perspective of a junior, it feels difficult to say, 'I think this way, shall we try this?'. 'What if he thinks I'm crossing the line?' “I started to feel impatient. But instead, she’s cool and like my real sister,” he said.
He continued, "She has a really good personality. She's always smiling. She's the type of person who says, 'Okay, let's try this too.' She takes good care of me when I eat. Also, my senior's husband provides a lot of support. He brings cup noodles, lunch boxes, etc. "The 'Seagull' team does not have time to lose weight. We are having a happy day with gifts and support from not only senior So Yoo-jin, but also teacher Lee Soon-jae, teacher Joo Ho-seong, senior Kim Su-ro, and brother Jeong Dong-hwa," he added, laughing.
Jin Ji-hee said, "Many people, including senior So Yoo-jin, lead the juniors off stage. This is revealed on stage. As our chemistry is revealed on stage, I rely more on senior So Yoo-jin. I feel more stable when I am with a senior."
Jin Ji-hee, who was trying her hand at acting for the first time, initially said, ‘I’ll do my best.’ He said, "At first, I thought, 'What should I do? I have to do well' and 'I shouldn't cause trouble.' Now, I have become close with Chung Dong-hwa and Kwon Hwa-un. Now I see them as Treblev. They have become assimilated into Treblev. “And since I’m melting into Nina, it seems like we’re getting closer and closer together,” he explained.
Also, "Donghwa oppa brings out emotions through his eyes. There are times when I am upgraded to a higher level thanks to Donghwa oppa. Hwaun oppa has a lot of emotions. When Hwaun oppa gets emotional, there are times when I get emotional without even realizing it. That's why it always ends. “We check with each other by asking, ‘Did you give me your feelings?’ and ‘Are you okay?’” he said, showing his affection.
Jin Ji-hee said that the character she plays, Nina, has many similarities. He said, "There are so many similarities. There are many words in the lines between Nina and Aruka that not only me but all actors can relate to. When talking about actors, acting, and dreams, I realized that plays, acting, and my life must have goals, too. “I ask myself, ‘Can life really be lived with purpose?’ Every time I read the script and every time I say a line, the feeling is different.”
