In MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Season of Kokdu', which aired on the 28th, Kokdu (played by Kim Jeong-hyeon) was shown discovering unusual traces from Han Hane-jeol (played by Im Soo-hyang) while searching for a woman who could lift a terrible curse.
On this day's broadcast, Kokdu, who descended to this world after 99 years, had to find out who the woman he had been waiting for, defying the law of death, was. In order to escape the curse that has lasted for eons, you have to find the source of your long-term desire and hear the words that I love you. Attention was focused on whether Kokdu would be able to regain the memories of Seol-hee (played by Im Soo-hyang), whom he tried to protect with his entire body within the 99 days given to him in this world.
However, I felt immeasurable pain from the sight of the puppet being possessed by a voice full of resentment and punishing a human being. The meaning of the curse was guessed that he would die without being able to love anyone as part of the Creator's punishment of having to lead the dead in the afterlife and repeat murder in this world.
Han Hane-jeol (played by Im Soo-hyang) is in danger of losing his career as a doctor because Do Jin-woo (played by Kim Jeong-hyeon) disappears without a trace after an accident. Unable to step down from his hard-won position, he did not hesitate to spread false rumors and devoted his efforts to finding Do Jin-woo. I finally faced Do Jin-woo, but the confusion only deepened. Do Jin-woo, who was always a political enemy, was behaving like an underdog, calling himself Gokdu, the god of the underworld.
In fact, Gkokdu was just as confused. A vague memory of the past flashed through Han Hane-jeol's persistent cling to her, and a strange phenomenon also occurred in which her limbs behaved as they wanted at every word she said. Soon after, Gokdu thought that Han Hane-jeol, who moved his heart, was the woman who held the key to the curse, and was filled with hopes of escaping from his boring life.
The stone flower ring, which is said to return to its owner when the time is right, is still by Kkokdu's side, raising questions. The seoknam flower ring symbolizes Oh Hyun's (played by Kim Jeong-hyun) commitment to Seol-hee in the past, so it is an important clue to their fate. It sparked interest as to whose hand the stone quince ring that appeared in modern times would ultimately end up in.
Meanwhile, the gap between Kokdu and Hanjeol changed sharply, leading to unpredictable developments. Kokdu, who was supposed to help testify so that he could keep his position at Pilseong Hospital, changed his words at will, making the situation even worse. Han Hane-jeol could not bear his sense of betrayal towards Do Jin-woo, who had promised to take care of her, and his foolishness in wanting to believe that he was on his side even though he knew he was being used, so he became angry and told Gokdu, who was disguised as Do Jin-woo, to kneel down and apologize.
At that moment, Kokdu once again sensed Han Hane-jeol's mysterious ability and, as if recalling their past relationship, grabbed her and stopped her, shouting, "Are you Seol-hee?" With the tension lingering in their eyes, attention is paid to whether Kokdu is remembering his past relationship with Hanjeol.
