On the afternoon of the 8th, the production presentation for tvN's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sacred Idol' (written by Cheon-geum Lee, directed by So-yeon Park) was held online. Actors Kim Min-gyu, Go Bo-gyeol, Lee Jang-woo, Tak Jae-hoon, Ye Ji-won and PD Park So-yeon attended.
On this day, Lee Jang-woo introduced his role as Demon King/Shin Jo-un. The character in the play, who is the devil of this world and the vice president of a company, is a person who tries to put good people into tests, and when he sees bad people, he thinks they are ugly and treats them like insects.
He said, "I ended up acting in what is called 'bad taste'. I thought about solving it in my own way. I'm currently filming it and it's really fun. I also have super powers and the ground shakes with just one step."
He continued, "It's fun to go to the filming set these days. I ignore others and bully people. It's fun to play a bad character after only playing good characters. I'm so absorbed in it that I think I'll just stay at home for a while so I don't get in an accident." He added, “Both my skills and abilities are different from before, so please look forward to it.”
He said, “Through this work, I hope to gain the title ‘X child.’”
‘Holy Idol’ will premiere on the 15th at 10:30 PM.
