Actor Son Seok-gu was embroiled in an untimely 'no-show' controversy.

Recently, Channel 15 Nights released a video titled ‘Casino team on the rise, in danger of being kicked out of the entertainment industry (?)’. Actors Son Seok-gu, Lee Dong-hwi, Kim Joo-ryeong, Son Eun-seo, Lee Hae-woo, and Lim Hyeong-jun appeared in Disney+'s 'Casino'.

Son Seok-gu, who played the role of a police officer at the Filipino Korean Desk, was embroiled in controversy over his no-show(?). Producer Na Young-seok said, "I'm really enjoying 'Casino', but there were a lot of criticisms from people around me, asking, 'When will Son Seok-gu come out?'" Son Seok-gu also admitted, "It will appear a lot in the future. The director and ordinary civil servants become real police officers through awakening. “I said let’s draw the process,” he said. In response, Lee Dong-hwi said, “This is the controversy over Son Seok-gu’s no-show,” and “This is the first time such a strong reaction has occurred since Ronaldo,” drawing laughter.

Son Seok-gu described himself as a ‘script researcher’ during filming in the Philippines. He looked back and said, “I was wondering what I had done, but I was alone in my room a lot.” Lim Hyeong-jun said, “Like a real pastor memorizing Bible verses, he knows where and how many scenes there are,” and “When I got lost, he told me, ‘Brother, that’s part 4, page 48.’” he said, arousing surprise. Lim Hyeong-jun laughed, saying, “Sometimes, I called him in the evening and analyzed him persistently, but the timing was so wrong that I had trouble swimming the next day.”

'Casino' is a powerful story about Cha Musik, a man who became a casino legend in the Philippines with no money or background, but becomes embroiled in a murder case and begins to make the final bet that puts his life on the edge. Season 1 concluded on the 25th, and Season 2 begins on February 15th.
