Actor Lee Dong-hwi said that while filming 'Casino' in the Philippines, he spent his time drinking cola in the lounge.

Recently, Channel 15 Nights released a video titled ‘Casino team on the rise, in danger of being kicked out of the entertainment industry (?)’. Actors Son Seok-gu, Lee Dong-hwi, Kim Joo-ryeong, Son Eun-seo, Lee Hae-woo, and Lim Hyeong-jun appeared in Disney+'s 'Casino'.

The 'Casino' actors told an anecdote about filming for three months while staying at a luxury resort in the Philippines. They enjoyed their time off outside of filming in their own way, and Lee Dong-hwi explained, “There are swimming groups, golf groups, etc.” Lim Hyeong-jun and Lee Hae-woo said they were swimming people, and Son Seok-gu said of Lee Dong-hwi, "He's a lounge fan. He goes to the lounge alone and drinks free cola like that," making people laugh. Lee Dong-hwi smiled and said, “That’s right. There is a nice lounge where you can drink cola.”

Lee Dong-hwi explained, "After filming, we always gathered in Seok-gu's room to study and think about things, which was a great help to the work. As we talked at first, the more we talked, the better we got, so we voluntarily gathered together later on."

Lim Hyeong-jun drew attention by adding, "Later, there was a rumor that meeting Son Seok-gu would improve the role in three dimensions, so other actors also wanted to meet him."

In response, Son Seok-gu also admitted, “Senior Choi Min-sik also told me that I was a senior researcher for ‘Casino.’”

'Casino' is an intense story about Cha Musik, a man who became a casino legend in the Philippines with no money or background, but gets caught up in a murder case and begins to make the final bet that puts his life on the edge. Season 1 concluded on the 25th, and Season 2 begins on February 15th.
