Kim Myung-soo and Choi Jin-hyuk star in MBC's 'Numbers'

Actors Kim Myung-soo and Choi Jin-hyuk have confirmed their appearances in MBC's new drama 'Numbers: Watchers of the Building Forest'.

'Numbers: Watchers of the Building Forest', scheduled to air in the first half of this year, is a human office action drama in which Jang Ho-woo, a high school graduate and accountant, realizes justice in the most accountant-like yet un-accountant-like way against the absurdities of a large accounting firm. As a work that sheds light on the world of accounting firms and accountants for the first time, it heralds the birth of a drama that will provide genre pleasure that will make you feel more thrilling and cathartic than ever before.

Meanwhile, Kim Myung-soo and Choi Jin-hyuk, who have shown a unique presence in each work, confirmed their appearance, raising expectations. First, Myungsoo Kim chose ‘Numbers: Watchers of the Building Forest’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Numbers’) as his first work after discharge from the military. Kim Myung-soo's role, Jang Ho-woo, is the first and only high school graduate accountant to join Taeil Accounting Corporation, one of Korea's Big 4 accounting firms. A person with excellent memory and observation skills, an innate sense of numbers, which are essential for an accountant, and excellent improvisation skills. Kim Myung-soo, who has shown a three-dimensional character digestion that doubles the character's charm in each work regardless of genre, plans to realistically portray the role of Jang Ho-woo, who believes that the most important value is people and has a sense of justice through this work.

Choi Jin-hyuk, who returned to his day job after a long time, plays the role of Han Seung-jo, the only son of the vice president of Taeil Accounting Corporation. In the play, Han Seung-jo is from a good family, has a good academic background, and even has a good personality. He has everything to the point where he can be called a 'scam character'. Choi Jin-hyuk, who has proven his wide acting spectrum by demonstrating outstanding acting skills in a variety of genres, is raising expectations about what kind of acting potential he will unleash through the role of Han Seung-jo.

The production team of ‘Numbers’, which has established a reliable casting lineup with the confirmation of Kim Myung-soo and Choi Jin-hyuk, said, “The presence of the two actors alone is a strong casting. The perfect synchronization between actors and characters, as well as what kind of ensemble will be created when the two actors work together, seems to be the first attractive point of 'Numbers'. “We ask for your interest and anticipation.”

‘Numbers: Watchers of the Building Forest’ is scheduled to air in the first half of this year.
