Stills of Kim Da-mi, Jeon So-ni, and Byun Woo-seok from the movie 'Soul Mate' (directed by Min Yong-geun) that remind us of those times have been released.
On the 13th, distributor NEW released Y2K stills of Kim Da-mi, Jeon So-ni, and Byun Woo-seok from 'Soul Mate'. 'Soulmate' is the story of two friends, Miso (played by Kim Da-mi), Ha-eun (played by Jeon So-ni), and Jin-woo (played by Byeon Woo-seok), who recognized each other from their first meeting and shared everything together, including joy, sadness, excitement, and longing.
In the movie, Kim Dami expresses the smile of a free spirit who wants to live the life she wants rather than settling down somewhere. This still, which feels refreshing just by looking at it against the blue sky in the background, exudes Miso's unique free atmosphere. And the flip phone and the colorful rings that the smile was holding became a cute highlight.
Ha-eun's expression as she looks somewhere makes the viewers excited and smile. Jeon So-ni delicately revealed Ha-eun's calm personality, unlike her smile, through her facial expressions. The outfit Ha-eun is wearing is a denim skirt and checkered southern style, which were considered girlfriend fashion at the time, and seems to not only explain the era but also highlight the character's elegant and quiet charm.
Lastly, Jin-woo, who protects the friendship between Mi-so and Ha-eun, is a character who boasts transparent charm. This still is a scene of Miso and Jinwoo's first meeting, and their characters are clearly revealed. On his way home from school while listening to music on his favorite MP3 player, Jinwoo suddenly encounters a smile. From this meeting, Miso, Ha-eun, and Jin-woo begin to accumulate their own special time. Byun Woo-seok succeeded in bringing Jin-woo's side to life with his unique pure and gentle appearance.
Meanwhile, 'Soulmate' will be released on March 15th.
