Movie star in his 40s booked by police for drunk driving accident


An actor in his 40s who has appeared in numerous films and plays has been booked by the police for a drunk driving accident.

According to Asia Economic Daily on the 14th, Gangnam Police Station in Seoul is investigating Mr. A, a movie star in his 40s, on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving).

Mr. A had an accident at around 6:30 am on this day when he hit a traffic light at the southern end of Hannam Bridge in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It was reported that Mr. A's blood alcohol level at the time of the accident was at a level that would have resulted in his license being revoked.

Because the injury was minor, Mr. A was immediately investigated by the police. It was reported that the passenger was taken to a nearby hospital.

Mr. A appeared in the movies ‘Blood of the Policeman’ and ‘Black Money’.
