Tri.B held a showcase to commemorate the release of their second mini album ‘WAY’.
The new album 'Way' carries the meaning of announcing a new beginning for TRIBE. Even before its official release, it attracted the attention of many people with its concept of the millennium era, transitioning from one century to another.
It contains 5 tracks of various genres, including the title song 'WE ARE YOUNG', 'STAY TOGETHER', 'WITCH', and 'WONDERLAND'.
The title song 'We Are Young' is a song that reinterprets the upbeat style that was popular in the 2000s as a techno pop genre that combines heavy and simple drums with morphed vinyl sounds.
Producer Shinsadong Tiger and EXID's ELLY participated in the overall production of this album. In addition, Lia Kim, chief choreographer of the dance crew 1MILLION, participated in the title song 'We Are Young' and completed a high-quality performance.
For the song 'Witch', the Tri-B members produced their own choreography, proving once again that their musicality has grown to the next level.
On this day, Miret said about the creation of the choreography, "I tried to make it bizarre. I watched various dance videos to match the mood of the song and was also inspired by Netflix's 'Wednesday'.
Hyun Bin said, "When we heard the song, each member had different opinions. We just told ourselves to do whatever our bodies told us to do. We created the choreography based on the movements. I think we came up with our own choreography."
He continued, "I used to participate in music shows only when there were no fans. This time, I got to go on stage with fans present."
Song Seon said, "Due to the impact of COVID-19, I was unable to perform in front of my fans. Recently, I was able to feel the importance of performing on stage in front of my fans. I was able to release music thanks to my fans. I always feel grateful for my music and my fans."
An episode with producer Sinsa-dong Tiger was also reported. Song Seon said, "After the last album, the members talked among themselves. At that time, they said they wanted to enjoy the stage while laughing immaturely. This time, producer Sinsa-dong Tiger accepted our opinions, so this album was released."
So-eun added, "I want to become an idol who can't describe anything as impossible. I hope we can try various genres. We are not afraid of trying things. I hope the public will gain strength and courage after seeing us."
