BTS Jimin donates 100 million won to Turkiye earthquake victims


Jimin, a member of the group BTS, donated 100 million won to help victims of the earthquake in Turkuye, Syria.

According to the Korean Committee for UNICEF on the 15th, Jimin participated in the emergency relief efforts for children affected by the Turkiye and Syrian earthquakes and donated 100 million won. Jimin said, “I hope it helps the children affected by the earthquake.”

Lee Ki-cheol, Secretary General of the Korean Committee for UNICEF, said, "Jimin has been carrying out the 'LOVE MYSELF' campaign with BTS members for 6 years since the Korean Committee for UNICEF and Big Hit Music signed a social contribution agreement, contributing to UNICEF's campaign to eradicate violence against children and adolescents. “We are supporting ‘END Violence,’” he said.

He added, "Jimin, who has been spreading good influence around the world by continuously sharing in various fields since his debut, donated valuable funds to children affected by the Turkiye and Syrian earthquakes. We are deeply grateful."
