A child with tics appears on Channel A's 'Parenting These Days - My Golden Baby'.
Channel A's 'Parenting These Days - My Golden Child', which will be aired on the 17th, will reveal the story of 'a 6th grade son who makes strange movements and sounds when he gets a question wrong'.
On this day, a mother and grandmother with two sons aged 13 and 11 appear in the studio. The Geumjjok family has been a large family ever since they got married. When Jeong Hyeong-don asks if it would not have been easy for him to appear on the show when he was 13, Geumjjoek's mother carefully reveals the reason for his appearance. It is said that Geum-Jeok, who has always been a loyal listener, asked to apply to appear on the show, saying, “I think I can fix the part I’m having trouble with if I meet Dr. Oh.”
In the pre-released video, Geumjjook is seen sitting alone at his desk and solving a workbook. However, while solving the workbook, Geumjyo begins to make suspicious noises. Afterwards, he even throws the pencil at the wall. The grandmother, worried about Geum-Jeok, approaches and asks, but Geum-Jeok kicks the workbook away with her knee without answering. The panelists watching the video guessed the cause, whether it was due to academic stress or simply being busy.
In the following video, Geumjjook is captured repeating strange sounds and actions. The child makes an 'um~mm' sound and then strikes the workbook with his elbow, fingernail, or pencil. The chair also shakes while repeating an unknown 'whisking' sound. In the end, he even shows violent behavior such as breaking his neck and swiping his face. Oh Eun-young, who was watching this, shouts STOP and begins to analyze Geumjjoek's sounds and actions.
Geumjjoek, who visited the library with his friends, concentrates on reading books quietly without making any noise. Soon, a groaning sound like 'knocking' may come out, but he does not show any of the tics that were previously seen at home. However, Geumjyeok continues to clear his throat as if he is somehow uncomfortable. Can tics be tolerated arbitrarily? In the studio, Oh Eun-young presents a twisted analysis: “If a child with tics becomes OO, he or she can tolerate it for a short period of time.”
You can find out what the customized solution is for Geumjjoo, who shows abnormal behavior at home but tolerates tics outside, on Channel A at 8 PM on the 17th.
