On Channel A's 'Cohabitation, Not Marriage', Cho Seong-ho and Lee Sang-mi, a couple of 12 years who recently canceled a wedding reservation, appear to be bickering again over their thoughts on marriage.
In 'Cohabitation, Not Marriage', which will be aired on the 20th, idol-model cohabitation couple Jo Seong-ho and Lee Sang-mi head to their hometown of Busan to announce the cancellation of their wedding. Lee Sang-mi, who has no intention of getting married yet, said, “If we were not living together and we canceled (the marriage) for one reason or another, we might break up and I would have been anxious. But we live together well, so there’s nothing in particular… “I want to get married at the right time,” he said, expressing his belief that there is no problem in the romantic relationship regardless of whether he is married or not.
However, Cho Seong-ho revealed that he still wants to get married, saying, “I don’t think anything will change much for us even if we get married.” In response, Lee Sang-mi expressed her thoughts on marriage, saying, “It is more comfortable to live together than to be bound by the institution of marriage.” Cho Seong-ho countered by saying, “I think marriage guarantees a certain level of safety and comfort, and there is freedom to be enjoyed within it.”
Regarding the difference of opinion between the two about marriage, Lee Yong-jin said, “Honestly, we need to take some MSG of love. “You shouldn’t talk too realistically in front of realistic people,” he said, expressing concern about Jo Seong-ho’s overly honest speaking style. Jo Seong-ho also worried, saying, “How can I make my parents understand when we can’t agree on anything?” However, Lee Sang-mi said, “There is no need for that. “I’m going to marry you anyway,” he declared.
Aiki supported their marriage, saying, “I hope Sang-mi keeps her words, ‘I will marry you.’” However, Han Hye-jin was worried, saying, “If I were to say this for the benefit of the man I live with who was hurt right away, I think that later, when he says, ‘I don’t think I’m getting married,’ those words will be poisonous.”
You can see how the two people, who are still at odds due to differences in their thoughts on marriage, will announce the news of their wedding cancellation to their families on 'Cohabitation, Not Marriage', which airs at 9:10 pm on the 20th.
