Kim Jong-guk "Playing with friends, exercise is essential, we learn humility"
Singer and broadcaster Kim Jong-kook once again called out the importance of exercise.

On the 30th, a video titled ‘A movie star who learns about fitness’ was posted on Kim Jong-guk’s YouTube channel, Jim Jong-guk. Jin Seon-gyu and Jang Dong-gyu, the main actors of the movie 'Count', appeared in this day's video.

On this day, Kim Jong-guk asked Jin Seon-gyu and Jang Dong-gyu about their exercise experience and physical condition.

Jin Seon-gyu said, "I've been to the gym only a few times. I really like exercising. I haven't tried many exercise machines, but I like running, so I continued to wear out my ankle and iliotibial band. Since I didn't do strength training, it started to get worse as I got older." He said. Kim Jong-kook said, "He said such good things. Weights are basic. I need to establish a framework to do the exercise I like."

Jin Seon-gyu then said, "I also had back surgery twice," and Kim Jong-guk, who also had back surgery, hugged Jin Seon-gyu and said, "I touched his back and it was so soft," and "If you had back surgery, you must lift weights." 'You should have done it,' he said.

Kim Jong-kook also made people laugh by saying, "I always say this to actors. If you look good, don't exercise, but today I won't do that."

Next, we talked about ‘Count’. Jin Seon-gyu said about his character, "I am a boxer who won a gold medal at the 1988 Olympics and returned to his hometown 10 years later in 1998. I gathered all my friends who were playing and those who were bullied, and I trained them to be healthy mentally."

In response, Kim Jong-kook said, "Exercise is very essential for friends who play and those who are bullied. If friends who hang out also learn to exercise, they will learn humility. I learn humility by directly seeing strong people who are better than me." Jin Seon-gyu, who heard this, said that Jang Dong-ju's character is like that.

Kim Jong-kook added, "I also came to my senses by going out to society and going to the boxing gym. I thought that I had never met the right person in my life."

Regarding the viewing point of 'Count', Jin Seon-gyu said, "It's healthy and refreshing," and Jang Dong-gyu added, "I cried halfway through watching it." Kim Jong-kook said of Jin Seon-gyu, "He has a boxing face," and "He is a man who has been fighting for about 20 years." Jin Seon-gyu said, "I had an after-party with Hwang Jung-min, and it was when we didn't know each other. But he said, 'Hey, did you box?' “He said so,” he said, laughing.

Kim Jong-kook then said that Jin Seon-gyu needed weights and started training directly, saying, "For those of you who are curious about what to do when you go to the gym, I will tell you."

Meanwhile, 'Count' (Director Kwon Hyuk-jae), in which Jin Seon-gyu plays his first lead role since his debut, is about Si-heon (Jin Seon-gyu), a former gold medalist and a My Way teacher who never lets go once he bites, meets a ragtag group of hack-ass students and delivers a delightful blow to the world. It is a movie that tells a story. Released on February 22nd.
