Actor Park Eun-seok expressed his feelings about playing the same character as Yoo In-chon in the play 'Faust'.
On the afternoon of the 21st, a press conference for the play 'Faust' was held at the LG Arts Center Seoul in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. Actors Yoo In-chon, Park Hae-soo, Park Eun-seok, Won Jin-ah, and director Yang Jeong-woong attended the event.
'Faust' is a reinterpretation of the play completed over 60 years by the great German writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Through Faust's imperfect actions and choices, direction and inspiration for an imperfect life are presented.
Park Eun-seok plays the role of young Faust. Faust, who becomes young after drinking a witch's potion, falls for Mephisto's schemes and becomes obsessed with worldly desires and pleasures.
On this day, Park Eun-seok said, "When Dae-senior and actor Yoo In-chon first read in the practice room, I was able to see that he was able to demonstrate the power of language, diction, vocalization, and pronunciation, and it was beyond compare."
He added, "Actually, I started acting by learning Korean again in Korea. I have a complex about language, but I think this work will definitely be an opportunity for me to improve. I'm watching and learning a lot from the side."
Meanwhile, 'Faust' will open at LG Arts Center Seoul from March 31.4
