Kim Min-ul was selected as the OST singer for KBS2's daily drama 'Bride of the Typhoon' and completed the song 'I'm not confident in being alone like this' with his own interpretation of the song.
As the lyrics say, 'Like the wind passes by me / It's like you who passed by my time / You left after hurting me like this', the song sings about heartache while remembering a lover who loved but left.
'I don't have the confidence to be alone like this / I'm afraid, I feel like it's going to hurt like today / I'm not getting better at all / I'm waiting for you who left all my love behind', and it is reminiscent of the main characters in the play who face a breakup. Kim Min-ul showed off his outstanding singing skills by continuing to deliver compelling vocals without giving up on emotion from the beginning to the end of the song.
Kim Min-ul, who formed the three-member vocal group Treasure and debuted in the music industry in 2008, declared his solo career in 2014 and has been active as a ballad singer. After singing for her first OST through the 2020 drama ‘No matter what anyone says’, she continued her singing career and showed off her skills as a talented vocalist.
The drama 'Bride of the Typhoon' (directed by Park Ki-hyun, written by Song Jeong-rim) is about a woman who becomes the daughter-in-law of her enemy and seeks revenge. Cast members such as Park Ha-na, Son Chang-min, Kang Ji-seop, Park Yoon-jae, and Oh Seung-ah are creating a popular synergy effect with their perfect acting combination, increasing immersion.
An official from Plus Media, the OST production company, said, “Vocalist Kim Min-ul’s appealing voice, which boasts explosive high notes, is expected to leave a deep impression and add to the fun of watching the drama.”
Kim Min-ul's 'I'm Not Confident to Be Alone Like This', an OST for the KBS2 daily drama 'Bride of the Typhoon', co-created by composers W, Sang-hee Sang, Jimin (JAK), and Geon-chi, will be released on the music platform at noon on the 26th (Sunday).
