In 'Say It's Love', the past story of 'Sim Woo-joo' (played by Lee Sung-kyung), who curiously vows 'revenge' after witnessing his father's affair, and the fact that the son of the affair partner is 'Han Dong-jin' (played by Kim Young-kwang). As it was revealed, a full-fledged development ensued with the meeting of a man and a woman who should not have been involved. 'Woo-joo' went to his father's funeral wearing expensive clothes and elaborate hairdo to meet 'Ma Hee-ja' (Nam Ki-ae), his father's affair partner. Here, ‘Woo-joo’ burned with revenge after accidentally finding out that ‘Ma Hee-ja’ had sold the house where she had lived for over 20 years. Inside the funeral home, he made spicy noises with violence and ambition, but because he was soft on the inside, the scene where he vomited up everything he ate clearly revealed the situation of 'Woo-joo', who had no choice but to take revenge, and it was sad.
'Woo-joo' became vengeful after learning that 'Hee-ja' had invested in her son 'Dong-jin''s company with the money from selling her house. 'Woo-joo' joined Choi Sun Exhibition, a company headed by 'Dong-jin', as an office assistant and made a revenge plan to repay what was done to him, and even followed him, creating a highly immersive and tense atmosphere for viewers. In particular, there was a strange tension that arose every time 'Dong-jin', who became the target of revenge without knowing anything, and 'Woo-joo', who risked everything for revenge, ran into each other by chance.
The unpredictable development of such 'Woo Joo' being in danger of being fired from 'Choi Sun Exhibition' overnight unfolded, further increasing immersion. An incident occurred in which even ‘Dongjin’ turned his back on him as he was misunderstood as a spy who stole information from Choi Sun Jeon Ram. There was a real spy within the company, but 'Woo-joo' remained in the company for a long time, and in a situation where he was framed as a criminal just because he was a contract employee, 'Dong-jin' announced his dismissal to 'Woo-joo', heightening tension.
Afterwards, 'Dong-jin', who found out the identity of the real culprit, called 'Woo-joo' and expressed his apologies, and when 'Dong-jin' was in danger, 'Woo-joo' instinctively tried to save him. This shows the story of the two men and women who are connected by more than 'revenge'. It made me look forward to the next one even more.
‘Say It’s Love’ is an emotional romance between a man and a woman who should never have met, ‘Woo-joo’, a woman who eagerly jumps into revenge, and ‘Dong-jin’, a man who becomes the target of revenge. Two episodes are available every Wednesday on Disney+.
