On this day, Seo Ji-hye recalled the moment she played the role of high school student Eungang and said, "At this age, the school uniform was a bit burdensome. Still, the writer said he wanted to depict more of my friendship with Bada (played by Hong Soo-hyun). I wore it at the writer's request."

Seo Ji-hye's role, Jo Eung-kang, is a person who lives her entire life feeling a sense of relative deprivation from Bada (played by Hong Soo-hyun), whom she met in her first year of high school. 'Red Balloon' broke its highest viewership ratings every episode.
