Kim Yong-jun appeared on Channel A's 'Men's Life These Days - Groom's Class' (hereinafter referred to as 'Groom's Class'), which aired on the afternoon of the 1st, and revealed his honest daily life for the first time in 19 years since his debut.
Following the interview episode aired last January, Kim Yong-jun officially joined as a new member of 'Groom Class' and gave his first greeting to viewers. When asked about his age, Kim Yong-jun began with a cheerful answer, "I'm a green 4th grader (40 years old)." The atmosphere was raised from the beginning.
Yongjun Kim's day began with a fixed routine of waking up after hearing the alarm, washing his face, and weighing himself. Kim Yong-jun, who has been living with his parents for 40 years, said, "I never imagined that I would still be living with my parents," and attracted attention by introducing his caring parents and dog Tori.
Kim Yong-jun seemed shocked by the weight he had gained significantly during his period of inactivity, and tried to ignore the meal prepared by his parents. Kim Yong-jun, who was just eating chicken breast in silence while watching his parents enjoying a delicious meal, eventually made everyone laugh by putting the soybean paste soup and rice that his mother had brought right to his nose into his mouth as if fascinated.
After finishing his meal, Yongjun Kim went straight to the sink, finished washing the dishes, and even wiped down the gas range where the food had splattered. He then took out a vacuum cleaner and surprised the contestants with his diligence in cleaning the entire house, including the living room, his own room, and his sister's room.
In particular, Kim Yong-jun shocked everyone by surprisingly revealing the household account book that he had filled out completely over the past 11 years. Kim Yong-jun was envious of the male contestants by showing off the qualities of a first-class groom who was prepared with meticulous care to record every detail without wasting even a small amount of money.
Kim Yong-jun, who left the house in comfortable clothes, naturally exchanged greetings with local residents passing by, and then took the bus to his agency's office as if he was used to it. As soon as Lee Hoon-seok, CEO of Double HTN, the agency, saw Kim Yong-jun, he dissed Kim Yong-jun's attire and said, "Have you come here again? Let's become a celebrity," making the scene a sea of laughter.
Next, CEO Lee Hoon-seok actively recommended taking care of your skin, saying, "I looked at the photos of the SG Wannabe concert poster that was taken a while ago, and I thought I needed to take better care of my skin." When Kim Yong-jun asked, "Is your skin really bad?" he responded, "It's a mess." He replied, making him burst out laughing again.
He also said, "(Kim Yong-jun) was in charge of visuals, but now he always has dark circles and looks dirty," and played the music video for SG Wannabe's 'Lalala'. Kim Yong-jun, who was mesmerizingly watching his refreshing Leeds days 15 years ago, said, “I want to go back,” he said, recalling the past with a wistful expression.
Through the first broadcast, Kim Yong-jun, who showed the comfortable daily life of 'Kim Yong-jun as a human being' rather than as a singer, is raising even more expectations about what kind of unique charm he will show off in future broadcasts.
Meanwhile, SG Wannabe, to which Yongjun Kim belongs, will hold their first full-length concert in about 7 years, 'Our Song', at the Seoul Olympic Park Handball Stadium for 3 days from March 31st to April 2nd.
