I did volunteer work, but I never thought about getting married and adopting someone who had nothing to do with me, even though I don't know when I would get married." But it sounded like something that had nothing to do with me.” He continued, “I think he talked to me consistently for the past five years. I told him that I wasn't confident in adopting the child unless I gave birth to him first and raised him to see if he was someone I could love."
