Lee Jang-won revealed that he fell in love with the real thing when he first met Bae Da-hae.
Lee Jang-won and Joo Woo-jae appeared as guests on KBS 2TV's 'Problem Son of the Rooftop', which aired on the 8th.
Lee Jang-won married Bae Da-hae in November 2021. Lee Jang-won said, "We met for 8 months and got married. I met my wife through a blind date. My junior's best friend's mother at school is my mother-in. -law's best friend."
Lee Jang-won said that he was surprised by Bae Da-hae's appearance as a 'real-life gangster' on a blind date. Lee Jang-won said, "At the time, the coronavirus was severe, so a menu was brought out and a 'mask opening ceremony' was held. I had never seen the mask in person, but when I took it off, it was so pretty. It was a real-life gangster." He then said, “I was so pretty that I was worried that my wife would be seduced by me and that I would get hurt,” he said, making everyone laugh. Joo Woo-jae also sympathized with Bae Da-hae's 'real-life gangster theory', saying, "I've met my sister-in-law, and she's pretty and charismatic. She's lithe and soft, but also charismatic." On his first blind date, Lee Jang-won said, "When I came to my senses, it was 6 am the next morning. Even when I went home late in the morning, we continued exchanging messages and even called. It took a long time for us to say, 'Are we dating?', but we continued to contact each other."
Lee Jang-won revealed a sweet anecdote from his dating life with his wife, Bae Da-hae. Lee Jang-won said, "There was a day when Da-hae had to go home from the train station late at night, and I couldn't pick her up. I was worried that Da-hae might be scared, so I drew a map of the way from the train station to the parking lot, but she was amazed." He told a romantic anecdote about being reborn as a 'medicine genius' just for Bae Da-hae.
Lee Jang-won, who got married after 8 months of dating, revealed that his wife Bae Da-hae was the first to confess and propose. Lee Jang-won said, "I was surprised. I had some bad luck. I ironed my suit and prepared (the proposal) as if I were escaping from a room." He continued, “We decided to order rings for each other, but the ring Bae Da-hae ordered separately arrived a day earlier than the ring I ordered for the proposal. Da-hae asked me to come over to her house, so I went there and there were roses on the floor. “He set up a game console and ordered a pizza. He said, ‘Let’s play games together for the rest of our lives.’” Everyone expressed envy and excitement at the story of receiving a proposal, the ultimate romance for men.
