The Japanese animation film 'Suzume's Lockdown' maintained the top spot at the box office for two consecutive days.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network on the 10th, 'Suzume's Lockdown' (directed by Makoto Shinkai) on the 9th maintained first place in the box office, mobilizing 75,180 viewers the previous day. The cumulative number of viewers was 278,237.
'Suzume's Lockdown' tells the story of Suzume, a girl who accidentally opens a door that causes disaster, and desperately tries to close it to prevent disasters occurring throughout Japan. The movie takes as its main subject the Great East Japan Earthquake, which had a magnitude of 9.0, the largest ever observed in Japan. 'Suzume's Door Break' is a film that attracted 10 million viewers in Japan, and the key question is whether it can also capture the hearts of Korean audiences.
'Confidential' (directed by Lee Won-tae) ranked second with 16,953 viewers, with a cumulative audience of 591,418. However, there is a large gap with the first place, 'Suzume's Door Break', with an audience of about 60,000.
This was followed by 'Demon Slayer: Sanghyeon Gathering, and To the Potter Village' (directed by Haruo Sotozaki) and 'I'm Hero the Final'.
